On September 11, the Inspection Technology and Quality Assurance National Institute (ITQAN) conducted a strategic meeting with the Research and Development Department of King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran. The meeting aimed to strengthen collaboration in technical education and workforce development, fostering a shared vision for advancing industry-ready skills.
During the session, both institutions engaged in productive discussions covering a wide range of strategic focus areas, including specialized and short course programs aligned with NDT & ASNT certifications, accreditation and certification opportunities, joint research initiatives, and customized programs for KFUPM’s engineering workforce.
The meeting concluded on a highly positive note, with both institutions committing to follow-up sessions to finalize and formalize a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) as required, laying the foundation for a long-term, transformative partnership in the field of technical training and education.
