On July 16, the Inspection Technology and Quality Assurance National Institute (ITQAN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the American Welding Society (AWS), marking a significant milestone in technical training and certification in Saudi Arabia. The agreement is part of the process to establish ITQAN as an Authorized Training and Examination Center for AWS certification programs, specialized training, and preparatory courses. This strategic partnership underscores ITQAN’s commitment to advancing welding excellence, raising training standards, and empowering the inspection workforce both nationally and regionally. The collaboration further positions ITQAN as a regional hub for globally recognized certifications, strengthening the future of the inspection industry in line with national workforce development goals.
