ITQAN

On May 15, the Inspection Technology and Quality Assurance National Institute (ITQAN) hosted an Anti-Drugs Awareness Session at the ITQAN Multipurpose Hall as facilitated by the Director of Preventive Programs for Combating Drugs in the Eastern Region. The main objective of the event was to share an awareness to prevent trainees from using illicit drugs by enhancing their awareness and understanding of the harmful social and health effects of drug use.

The session was interactive and attended by more than 200+ trainees where the speaker used an open and direct dialogue in delivering his sincerest advice. By applying Q & A techniques, the invited speaker rapidly addressed concerns and gathered an immediate feedback from the trainees. It is expected that such session will develop and implement community-based interventions and initiatives to prevent drug use.
