On Wednesday, November 12, the Inspection Technology and Quality Assurance National Institute (ITQAN) conducted a meeting with The Welding Institute (TWI), in collaboration with the Saudi Aramco Inspection Department, at the Saudi Aramco Booth during the second day of the 19th Middle East Corrosion Conference and Exhibition at the Dhahran Expo.
The meeting brought together key representatives including Mr. Bader Busbait, ITQAN Board Member and Director of the Saudi Aramco Inspection Department; Mr. Abbas Mohimi, TWI Senior Industry Sector Manager – Oil and Gas; Mr. Tariq Alamer, ITQAN Managing Director; and Dr. Gavin Jenkins, ITQAN College Dean.
Discussions centered on the delivery of TWI professional certifications, expanding access to the TWI Virtual Academy services, and exploring research and development opportunities in welding and materials technology.
The meeting reflects ITQAN’s continued drive to build international partnerships that enhance professional development, promote innovation, and align with the Kingdom’s vision for technical excellence.
