On Wednesday, November 12, the Inspection Technology and Quality Assurance National Institute (ITQAN) held a strategic meeting with the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), in collaboration with the Saudi Aramco Inspection Department, at the Saudi Aramco Booth during the second day of the 19th Middle East Corrosion Conference and Exhibition at the Dhahran Expo.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Bader Busbait, ITQAN Board Member and Director of the Saudi Aramco Inspection Department; Mr. Clyde May, ASNT President; Mr. Paul Lang, ASNT Chief Global Strategy Officer; Mr. Tariq Alamer, ITQAN Managing Director; and Dr. Gavin Jenkins, ITQAN College Dean.
Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in professional certification and training, exploring the use of Artificial Intelligence in NDT applications, and enhancing collaboration across NDT services and manpower development.
This strategic engagement underscores ITQAN’s commitment to fostering innovation, advancing globally recognized NDT standards, and empowering the next generation of inspection professionals.
